This triangular shawl is knit on the bias in garter stitch, and features sections of mosaic colorwork. The texture of the garter stitch, combined with a squishy DK weight yarn, results in a snuggly shawl perfect for keeping warm when there’s a cool breeze coming off the lake.

Yarn:

• DK Weight
• 828 yards total: 455 of Color A, 159 of Color B, and 214 of Color C
• The pictured sample was knit in Sweetgeorgia Superwash DK in Slate (Color A), Summer Skin (Color B), and Saffron (Color C).

Measurements:

• Gauge: 11 sts and 16 rows per square inch of garter stitch, blocked
• Gauge is not critical for this item, but will affect required yardage
• Finished Measurements: Length 65”; Depth 28”

Tools:

• US 7 (4.5mm) needles (or size required to achieve gauge)
• Needle for weaving in ends
